Ravin Crossbows, LLC is issuing a voluntary recall of its R500 Model Series Crossbows due to a potential safety issue. If the crossbow is not fully cocked, it can discharge unexpectedly when consumers cock or uncock it, which can pose a risk of injury.
If you own one of these crossbows, please discontinue use and contact Ravin’s customer service at 888-769-7287, email at R500recall@ravincrossbows.com, or visit https://www.ravincrossbows.com/r500recall or www.ravincrossbows.com and click on “Safety & Instruction” then “Recall Notices” for more information. You can also return the crossbow for a free repair.
