How does the Manufacturer's Warranty differ from the Purchased Warranty/Service Contract?
Return Policy: Covers the first 30 days (defective) / 60 days (unwanted); the customer will work with the retailer for either a replacement or a refund; per the return policy.
Manufacturer's Warranty: The customer will work with the manufacturer, per the manufacturer's warranty policy; following the manufacturer's requirement for where to send the gun in for repair, or to receive parts that the gun may need. Manufacturer warranty may have associated costs for the work (shipping to and from the warranty center, repair/labor charges, etc.). May or may not be transferable. The Manufacturer's warranty starts from the time of shipment.
Service Contract: The service contract takes effect after the Manufacturer's Warranty has lapsed and is not transferable (stays with the original purchaser). The customer will have to work with the Service Contract company (Warrantech).
